Charity Campaign Blue Horse
Traditionally, the topic of charity has always been a special focus alongside sporting events at all of the Linsenhoff-Rath family’s equestrian tournaments. This wonderful tradition is now being introduced at the Al Shira'aa German Jumping and Dressage Derby 2025 in Hamburg with the life-sized Blue Horse.
Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff, founder of the Linsenhoff Foundation, is very pleased to have Janina Lin Otto, entrepreneur and chairwoman of the Holistic Foundation, on board for this charity campaign.
“Derby of Hearts”: Giving Chances with Mamalies
Under the motto 'Derby of Hearts – Giving Chances. Shaping the Future!' the two founders are supporting the Hamburg project Mamalies together this year. Mamalies provides a safe space in Hamburg for women and their children, offering low-threshold educational opportunities and meeting places. Refugee and migrant women are supported in starting their new lives in Germany successfully. With the best possible start, newly arrived women can lead self-determined lives and participate equally in society.
Mamalies’ meetings in HafenCity are paired with individual counseling, orientation, and integration courses. With LIFE HAMBURG in Hamburg-Bramfeld, the Holistic Foundation provides the premises for the services offered by Mamalies as part of the joint campaign with the Linsenhoff Foundation. Childcare is also provided during these times. Coming together, sharing information, and building networks—a wonderful project that makes integrating into society easier, empowers women, and helps ensure a good start for everyone!
Especially in these crisis-driven times with noticeable impacts—even on our communal living and togetherness—a supportive and warm community is more important than ever. Together, we want to set an example at the Derby of Hearts by giving chances and thus shaping the future!
Education – Integration – Future
The Linsenhoff Foundation, established in 2014 by Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff, specifically promotes the education and integration of children with migration or refugee backgrounds as well as those from socially disadvantaged families. This important commitment is designed to open up opportunities for a better future, particularly for girls and young women.
The Linsenhoff Foundation supports innovative project approaches to promote social justice and integration, thus contributing to strengthening social cohesion.
The goal of the founder and her daughter Liselott Marie is to enable people, regardless of their background, to lead self-determined lives with active participation in society. This is vital to ensure that young people can pursue their individual educational paths with confidence and responsibility, contributing to a peaceful and shared future.
Shaping the Future Consciously – Together
The Holistic Foundation’s founding couple, Janina Lin and Benjamin Otto, believe in positive change and want to 'open minds and hearts' to it. They see lifelong learning, vocation, well-being, and the environment as the foundation for a good future in which people can realize their individual strengths.
It is important to them to bring people together not just despite, but because of their differences, and to encourage a movement toward the good.
The founders combine their guiding values with a strong entrepreneurial spirit: Janina Lin and Benjamin Otto want to actively drive change, and for this reason, they are developing visionary flagship projects such as the LIFE HAMBURG Future Campus and the socially sustainable app holi.social. These inspiring initiatives are meant to motivate many people to discover and unleash their own potential.
